Computing
Computing at Bromet
At Bromet Primary School, we aim to provide a high-quality Computing curriculum that aligns with the national curriculum's aims, ensuring students develop a strong understanding of computing principles such as algorithims, programming and data representation. Through hands-on programming experiences, pupils learn to analyse and solve problems computationally, gaining confidence in their ability to write code and apply technology to real-world challenges. As they progress, students become skilled in evaluating and using both familiar and new technologies creatively and analytically.
We also prioritize online safety across all year groups, teaching students from Early Years to Year 6 how to navigate the digital world responsibly and securely. Our curriculum equips pupils with the knowledge and skills to stay safe online, make informed decisions, and protect their personal information. By fostering both technical competence and digital responsibility, we aim to develop confident, competent, and responsible digital citizens ready for the opportunities of the digital age.
