Well done to Issey for her excellent diary entry in response to the poem ‘Shut your mouth when you’re eating’ by Michael Rosen.

Next week there will be an assembly on Monday for ‘Children’s University’.

School Council will be hosting an assembly on Wednesday morning for the whole school for Remembrance Day.

Wednesday afternoon the children will be taking part in a writing workshop.

Thursday 3.15- 5.15pm – PTFA film night showing ‘Home’

Friday – Children in Need – Dress up as a superhero

Wednesday 18 November we will be visiting the Imperial War Museum.  We will be leaving school at 9am and returning for the end of the school day, dependent upon traffic.  The children have been told that they are allowed to take spending money to the value of £5.

The school jumble sale takes place on Saturday 21 November from 1 – 3pm.  Please remember to send your jumble into school. There is a prize for the class that collects the most jumble so please get sorting and send any unwanted items in for Eagle class.

Over the coming weeks the children will be preparing for the Year 6 Rations Tea Party, as part of their World War II studies. If you are able to help the children bake some cakes and biscuits in school please let me know. The tea party will be held on Thursday 3 December.  A letter will be sent home soon.
