All year 6 enjoyed the visit to the Houses of Parliament this week. They were told the history of the building and the events that have taken place in various rooms. They were able to enter the House of Lords, but unfortunately not the House of Commons as it was being searched by sniffer dogs prior to Prime Ministers question time.  The children also took part in a workshop were they debated a variety of issues.

Well done to Connie Hale being pupil of the week for her perseverance when working out algebraic questions.

This week the class will be taking part in a the indoor athletics competition on Tuesday at Watford Girls Grammar.

They will also be taking part in a Smoothie workshop, run by Herts Catering, on Thursday.

Class assembly is on Friday 5th February at 9am followed by tea and coffee and an opportunity to meet and chat to our new Head Teacher Mrs Pace.
