The home learning for this week is:
Spellings- Please learn the spellings and put these words into a sentence.
Maths- In Maths we have been practicing how to measure length using a ruler. Please play some of the games on http://mathszone.co.uk/measuring/length/ to keep practicing this skill. Also if you own a ruler or tape measure at home, can you measure things in your house. What is the biggest thing you can measure? What is the smallest?
English– As it is World Book Week I would like the children to read as many stories/ poems/ fact files as they can. Enjoy the world of reading!
Class Assembly- Please learn your lines for the class assembly. Remember to speak clearly, loudly and with expression!
- A HUGE thank you to those parents who came and helped on our Celtic Harmony trip. It was a fantastic day and the children represented the school brilliantly. I hope they enjoyed it (even with the rain and long coach journeys!)
- Wednesday- It is photo day! Best hair styles and smiles at the ready!
- Thursday– Is ‘Dress Up for World Book Day’- come in your best costumes! Remember there is a prize for the best dressed!
- Friday 10th March is our Class Assembly. We are also holding our class talent competition heats on this day.
Have a great week! Miss LH
