Clubs Autumn 2016

Posted on August 5th, 2016 by brometadmin

As requested, we are pleased to be able to offer the following clubs for the Autumn Term. We are still waiting on some clubs to confirm their details and will release them when we can.

Bookings must be made on the School Gateway, and please return the relevant club form to school to ensure they have all the details to keep your child safe. These forms will be held by the clubs during the sessions as the school office may not be available.

Following parent requests, all clubs will be available to book from August 8th and bookings will be available on a first come first served basis at this time. Please note that the school office is closed until 1st September.

For each club there is also a waiting list option. If you are unable to book onto a full club, please add your details to the waiting list as we can assess the demand and see how we can help.

Full Details and the forms can be downloaded below;

Thank you to all those that attended yesterday’s meeting about music provision here at Bromet.

As part of our commitment to music, we are very excited to be partnering with the Hertfordshire School of Music to enhance the musical options, and increase access to music for all our pupils. Brief details of some of the opportunities the pupils will have are included.

Detailed information will be sent out as the events are planned. A letter regarding individual tuition for Key Satge 2 pupils will be sent out via bookbags.

PTFA Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) 2016

Posted on February 9th, 2016 by brometadmin

We hereby give notice of an EGM of the Bromet PTFA, to be held on March 2nd 2016. The evening will commence at 6.30pm in the school hall.

The PTFA plays a vital part in the school community and all parents and friends, as members of the PTFA, are invited to support the EGM. This is your chance to hear and see how the funds you have helped to raise have been used for the benefit of the children/students at our school and how the school would like to work with the PTFA community to develop the school.

The EGM is being called to elect a new Chair, however, it is also an opportunity for you to discuss the structure of the PTFA , agree an updated constitution, and support the PTFA Committee, who will represent the association for the remainder of the academic year. Nominations should be sent in advance of the EGM, for existing committee members willing to stand for re-election and for anyone wishing to stand as an Officer or Ordinary Committee Member, for the first time.

If you would like any further information about what is involved in being a Committee Member, please speak to the Chair.

As our PTFA is a registered charity, all committee members automatically become Trustees of the Charity. Before submitting your nomination form, please read the Charity Commission publication ‘The Essential Trustee – What you need to know’. This is available from the website;

We look forward to seeing you on March 2nd.
