The PTFA play an essential role in Bromet School and over the last few years, with the support from many of the parents/ carers have been able to provide lots of things for our children including theatre trips, play equipment, and visiting pantomimes.
During the school year the PTFA organises and runs many events for both the parents/ carers and children to enjoy. Our main events are our jumble sale which takes place twice a year, and which has become famous in and around Watford and indeed very successful for us in terms of money raising. Our Summer Fair is also well established and our biggest fundraiser. We are also this year re-introducing a Christmas Fair event, which will be attended by Father Christmas.
PTFA is made up of mums, dads and carers of Bromet School pupils. Being part of Bromet PTFA can be hard work, but is also rewarding. the PTFA is made up of 3 components:
- Committee – who overseas all of the planned events, and help make key decisions about fundraising.
- Class Representatives – who help organise their individual class
- PTFA members – who help out when they are required
If you are one of our parents/carers we really need you to volunteer, it doesn’t matter if you can’t help on a regular basis, every offer of help is gratefully received. We work on the premise ‘that many hands make light work’.
If you think that you have something to offer either as a class rep, or with some new ideas, please, please, please contact the team on firstname.lastname@example.org.
